Find bearings by gearbox shaft

Koyo bearings for every shaft position in an industrial gearbox

Input, intermediate and output shafts each carry different loads, so each needs a different bearing family. Cylindrical roller bearings suit floating positions on gearbox shafts. Tapered and angular contact bearings take combined radial and axial loads. Spherical roller bearings handle heavy shafts with misalignment.

  • Our gearbox rebuild shop uses Koyo tapered and cylindrical roller bearings from jpkoyo.com. Every bearing matches the JTEKT execution we specify, and our rebuilt gearboxes are running longer between overhauls.

    ★5.0 —— Giuseppe Romano

  • A conveyor gearbox failed at our plant and we needed Koyo spherical roller bearings urgently. They identified the correct Koyo reference, shipped the same day, and the gearbox was back in service within the week.

    ★4.9 —— Mahmoud Khalil

  • They understand gearbox bearing arrangements. When we submitted a mixed list with floating and locating positions, they confirmed which Koyo series fit each shaft before quoting. No wrong deliveries in a year of orders.

    ★5.0 —— Stefan Nowak

  • Bulk pricing on Koyo roller bearings for our gearbox assembly line was competitive, with genuine packaging and correct quantities. Delivery to our port arrived on the agreed date.

    ★4.9 —— Rodrigo Almeida

  • As a transmission repair workshop, we previously split Koyo orders across several suppliers. This one consolidates our lists, matches references accurately, and the bearings are always genuine JTEKT product.

    ★5.0 —— Willem Botha

  • The Koyo needle roller bearings and tapered bearings for our drive assembly were supplied exactly to specification. Our engineer checked the fit on arrival and installation went without modification.

    ★5.0 —— Kenji Mori

Reference check before quoting

Every Koyo reference is completed before you receive a price

We confirm the full suffix, the shaft position and the required configuration first, so the bearing that arrives is the bearing that fits. Any technical change needs your approval.

01

Seal type and clearance live in the suffix

A shortened stock code on a maintenance list drops the suffix that defines the original seal and internal clearance. We restore the full Koyo / JTEKT reference before quoting.

  • Shielded, sealed or open execution confirmed
  • Internal clearance matched to the application
  • Clear marking photo accepted when the suffix is missing

02

Drive end and non-drive end, sorted by shaft

Repair lists often mix drive end and non-drive end, or floating and locating positions, under one line. We separate them by shaft so quantities and fits come out right.

  • Quantities stated per bearing position
  • Koyo series confirmed for each shaft
  • Floating and locating ends kept apart on the quote

03

Matching dimensions is not matching the bearing

When the equipment specification calls for a specific configuration, a bearing with the same bore and outside diameter can still be wrong. We check the configuration and the full assembly before quoting.

  • Configuration checked against the equipment model
  • Alternatives listed separately, never swapped in silently
  • Technical changes released only with your approval

FAQ

Questions from gearbox and transmission buyers

What should I send if the bearing suffix is missing?

Send a clear photo of the bearing marking, plus the equipment model and the bearing position. Note which details still need confirming. We complete the full Koyo / JTEKT reference before quoting.

Can I submit bearings and mounting components in one enquiry?

Yes. Bearings, adapter sleeves and bearing housings can go on the same list. Give each mounting component its own line with its reference, so the complete assembly is quoted together.

How are alternative references handled?

Alternatives are only quoted if you accept them, and they appear as separate lines on the quote. Any technical change from the original reference needs your approval before ordering.

Which documents come with Koyo bearings?

Koyo / JTEKT bearings ship in original packaging with certificates. The written quote lists the product documents for your order.
